Ozone is able to eliminate or inhibit the activity of bacteria, viruses, fungi and other pathogens. Furthermore, it improves oxygen transport and the release of oxygen by the blood. Thus, ozone can be used to treat chronic infections, inflammation, exhaustion, allergies, pain or similar health problems.
In ozone-oxygen therapy, an ozone-oxygen mixture is introduced rectally into the body via a thin tube. From there, it unfolds its effect both locally, e.g. in cases of intestinal inflammation or infections, and throughout the entire body, e.g. in cases of chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), post covid or pain.
Ozone-oxygen therapy comprises a cycle of around 12 treatments of 30-50 minutes each, with two sessions per week. The dose is gradually increased. The cost is €85 (in a pack of twelve: €80) per treatment and is usually covered partially by private health insurance companies.
As an alternative to rectal ozone-oxygen therapy, intravenous laser therapy can be applied. Furthermore, ozone-oxygen therapy can be supplemented by IHHT oxygen altitude training, intravenous oxygen therapy, chelation infusions or vitamin infusions. We will be happy to advise you on this.
