Intravenous Oxygen Therapy Berlin

Intravenous oxygen therapy (oxyvenation) according to Dr. Regelsberger is a medical procedure to support the immune system, to improve blood circulation and to activate the body’s own regulatory processes.

In this therapy, high-purity medical oxygen is administered into the vein via a small infusion needle in very small quantities and at a precisely controlled rate. The aim is to support the body’s self-regulation and to promote several metabolic and healing processes.

Support your immune system with intravenous oxygen therapy/oxyvenation. Against exhaustion, chronic infections, allergies and circulatory disorders.

Intravenous oxygen therapy (oxyvenation) triggers three main medical reactions:

  • Immunomodulation: The body perceives the administered oxygen bubbles as a kind of foreign stimulus (“pseudo-parasite”). This can lead to an increase in certain immune cells, in particular eosinophil granulocytes, which in turn can have a positive effect on inflammatory and immunological processes in the body.
  • Stimulating blood circulation: As a result of the treatment, the body releases more prostacyclin. This endogenous messenger substance has a vasodilating effect, improves microcirculation and inhibits the clumping of blood platelets. To support this, intravenous magnesium is oftentimes administered.
  • Detoxification protection: The treatment increases the activity of the enzyme paraoxonase-1. This enzyme is responsible for detoxifying harmful substances, protecting against oxidative stress and thus preventing cardiovascular diseases.

An overview of key studies on this topic can be found here, for example.

The areas of application include various clinical pictures, such as chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), post/long covid, chronic infections and inflammation, autoimmune diseases, rheumatism, circulatory disorders, COPD, kidney problems, allergies and migraines.

Intravenous oxygen therapy usually comprises 10-20 treatments of 10-30 minutes each with 3-5 sessions per week. The dose is gradually increased. The cost is €85 (in a pack of twenty: €80) per treatment and is usually covered partially by private health insurance companies.

If required, oxyvenation can be supplemented by other procedures, e.g. by our vitamin infusions, chelation infusions, IHHT oxygen altitude training, ozone-oxygen therapy or intravenous laser therapy. We are happy to advise you on this.

Last but not least, a responsible, healthy lifestyle is very important. We are therefore happy to also advise you on topics such as stress management, nutrition, exercise and sleep.
